Expel Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley from the Senate!

Of all the election-overturning, insurrection-spearheading Republicans to emerge in Trump’s coup on January 6, 2021, two Senators in particular stand out: Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri.

Cruz and Hawley championed Trump’s campaign to dismiss the electoral college – their spread of Trump’s unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud spoke directly and encouragingly to the MAGA mob.

But after the coup attempt left five dead, the Capitol Building in ruins, and their leader exposed for sedition, Cruz and Hawley still pushed forward, voting in the certification process to strike down the will of the people. Unacceptable, and illegal.

Add your name to demand the Senate remove Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley for engaging in insurrection.

And what was their motive? To earn the loyalty of Trump’s crowd for their own ambitions of a 2024 presidential run, of course. Hawley actually sent out fundraising emails right before MAGA extremists swarmed the Capitol, linking his fight in Congress with those on the streets – and then fist-pumping them as he left the building.

These men are dangerous to our democracy.
