Sign on to support Medicare expansion

As millions have lost health insurance during the pandemic, we need to do everything we can to get more people health care. Right now, that means pressuring President Biden to follow through on his campaign promises.

Lowering the Medicare eligibility age to 55 could get 40 million people good, low-cost coverage. Expanding Medicare to include vision, dental, and hearing coverage can get folks much-needed care that they’ve had to forego under current Medicare limitations — the out-of-pocket cost was just too much. Nearly two-thirds of people with Medicare don’t have dental coverage, and are suffering without needed dental care.

And allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices for everyone in the U.S. would immediately reduce costs. People in this country pay way more for prescription drugs than any other country in the world. Medicare negotiating lower prices would change that.

We can win these historic expansions of public health care coverage if we fight for them. That’s why we’re pushing for these transformative changes alongside Justice Democrats in Congress like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, and Pramila Jayapal.
