Greenberg Traurig has been in involved in at least 22 cases brought before SCOTUS since then, making this a staggering conflict of interest and ethical breach as bad as Clarence Thomas’ relationship with his billionaire sugar daddy.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum just signed into law a bill that bans abortion after six weeks — before many women are even aware that they’re pregnant — with no exceptions for rape or incest.

Today’s Action: Pass federal abortion protections now!
A Trump-appointed Texas judge’s recent decision to rescind the FDA’s approval of the abortion pill has been a huge blow to reproductive rights in America, threatening a safe and accessible way for people to self-administer abortion care in the privacy of their own homes, particularly in states where other abortion procedures have been criminalized.
Regardless of what conservatives would like to be true, America is not a theocracy. More than 60% of Americans support legal abortion access. A legislator’s job is not to play God, it’s to serve their communities. Overturning Roe v. Wade set an extremely dangerous precedent for the treatment of anyone who isn’t a straight, religious, white, cisgender male — especially after Justice Thomas indicated his intent to review other landmark rulings, like the ones that legalized gay marriage and fought for privacy in the bedroom. It’s time to take a stand.
It is simply not enough to rely on blue-state facilities to serve as firewalls against the relentless legislative assault from anti-choice Republicans in red states; we must guarantee far-reaching reproductive healthcare throughout the most conservative nooks of our country. A bill has even been proposed in South Carolina that would make execution an option for those who receive an abortion — it’s as absurd as it is dangerous.
What at first felt like a terrifying possibility became a grim reality for half the country following last summer’s disastrous SCOTUS ruling. Whether it’s donating to a local abortion fund, finding a rally, or writing to your members of Congress, your voice is needed in the struggle for federally protected abortion rights. You can find a comprehensive list of abortion funds to donate to here; states with conservative, Republican-dominated legislatures — Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana, in particular — are in dire need of support in the face of unrelenting attacks on women’s healthcare.
